Will a DaSilva Lift fit in my garage?
A Dasilva Drive on Lift is designed to fit into a standard single car garage.

What is the minimum height clearance needed in my garage?
The average height needed in your garage would be approximately 120 inches depending on the vehicles you will be stacking. Below is a formula given directly by Joe DaSilva.

Height calculation formula
Measure the height of both vehicles. Ex. Car 1 = 45 inches & Car 2 = 55 inches. Both vehicles will measure to a total of 100 inches. Add 9 inches to the total of both vehicles(9 inches covers the height of the ramp and safety latches), this will now give you a total of 109 inches.

In this example you would need the height of 109 inches in your garage.

Will my garage door need any modifications?
In most cases you will not need to modify your garage door, but you will need to modify your garage door tracks to clear the second vehicle on the lift.
